[Recordings of spinal cord bioelectric currents in man]

The method of recording of bioelectric currents in the spinal cord used by the author in patients demonstrated similarities between the spinal and the cerebral bioelectric rhythms. In certain pathological processes, especially in spinal tumours, ESG changes were observed, particularly evident at the level of the lesion. The method of bioelectric activity recording in the spinal cord may be useful for early recognition and localization of spinal diseases.
