Abstract:
Uterine fibroids are the most common benign tumours in women and are particularly common in women of African descent. Mullerian dysgenesis is uncommon and the association of a pelvic mass rare. Only three cases of the association of this syndrome with fibroids have been described and none of these has been in a woman of African descent.
