Summary

Intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) may improve venous leg ulcer healing, but evidence is limited. More research is needed to confirm its effectiveness and optimal use for treating leg ulcers.

  • Intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) is a mechanical compression method for swollen limbs.
