[Current views on the morphology of wound healing]

The paper presents a classification of the wound process: the implication in the wound healing of leukocytes, kinds of which include basophilic granulocytes, macrophages, neutrophilic granulocytes, and fibroblasts in the primary and secondary phases of the wound process healing; formation of collagenic fiber during the secondary and tertiary phases of the wound process; formation of epithelium on the wound regenerate.
