Summary

Diabetic retinopathy impacts choroidal circulation, with increased resistivity index observed in posterior ciliary arteries and ophthalmic arteries in patients with background diabetic retinopathy (BDR). Even without retinopathy, diabetic patients show altered retrobulbar circulation.
