Summary

Hypersensitivity syndrome (HS), a severe drug reaction, involves fever, rash, and organ issues weeks after medication. New findings link HS to human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6) reactivation, proposing a new entity: HHV-6-associated drug eruption (HADE).
