Abstract:
A modified technique is reported on the treatment of arteriovenous malformations in the mandibular body. The technique consists of highly selected embolization and piecemeal removal of the lesion through burred holes made in the cortex. This way the mandible and the teeth may be saved in selected patients.

Aneurysm management involves either conservative medical therapy or surgical intervention, depending on the size and symptoms of the aneurysm. Conservative management is generally reserved for smaller, asymptomatic aneurysms, while larger or symptomatic aneurysms often necessitate surgical repair.Conservative Medical TherapyFor small, asymptomatic aneurysms, particularly abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) less than 5.5 centimeters in diameter, conservative medical therapy is recommended. Hemodialysis I: Introduction
Hemodialysis (HD) is a medical treatment that artificially removes waste products, excess fluids, and toxins from the blood when the kidneys are no longer able to perform these functions effectively. Hemodialysis is typically performed in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or severe kidney...
