    Summary

    Traumatic ventricular aneurysms in young males resulted from direct chest injury, not coronary artery issues. Surgical removal of these aneurysms resolved symptoms, suggesting bypass surgery is often unnecessary for such cases.

    Background:

    • Traumatic left ventricular aneurysm is a rare but serious complication of chest trauma.
    • Myocardial necrosis following chest trauma can mimic myocardial infarction but may have different underlying mechanisms.

    • To report two cases of traumatic left ventricular aneurysm in young males.
    • To investigate the etiology of myocardial necrosis in traumatic ventricular aneurysm.
    • To evaluate the surgical management and outcomes of traumatic left ventricular aneurysm.
