Background:

Fournier's gangrene is a rapidly progressing, fulminant necrotizing fasciitis of the genito-perineal region.
It involves a mixed aerobic and anaerobic bacterial infection, often linked to local trauma or infections.

Observation:

A case of Fournier's gangrene was treated with a multidisciplinary approach including etherologue serum immunotherapy.
The patient experienced an uneventful postoperative course and good general condition at discharge.

Findings:

Etherologue serum immunotherapy, combined with conventional treatments, appears to be a valuable adjunct in managing Fournier's gangrene.
The patient showed no recurrence of the disease during a 3-year follow-up period.
