Abstract:
Three-dimentional (3D) ultrasound investigation (USI) covered 60 patients with various prostatic diseases. 3D USI was made with a computer tomographic device "Echotom-3D" allowing getting three-dimentinal images on two-dimentional scanners as well as 1846 scanner ("B&K Ultrasound Systems", Denmark), sensors 3.5, 5.0 and 7.0 MHz. Transabdominal, perineal and transrectal 3D USI were performed. These proved highly effective in diagnosis of prostatic diseases.
