Using Visual and Narrative Methods to Achieve Fair Process in Clinical Care
Published on: February 16, 2011
Abstract:
Everyone wants to expand health care coverage and access for those who need it, and many providers know what has to be done in their communities to make it happen. But getting there is a challenge because money is tight and much of the low-hanging fruit has already been picked. Even so, some providers, aided by grants to pave the administrative way, are finding creative methods to bring health care to the underserved. Hospitals & Health Networks looks at two such programs--what they hope to accomplish, what they've had to overcome and how they're putting their communities in charge.
