Summary

Computer-interpretable guidelines (CIGs) provide decision support using medical data models and expression languages. Version 3 of the GuideLine Interchange Format (GLIF3) integrates HL7 RIM and Arden Syntax, reconciling data model incompatibilities for better clinical decision support.
