  • A retrospective study analyzed 19 patients with bilateral MCP.
  • Fifteen patients received immunomodulatory therapy; four received only systemic steroids.
  • Patients treated solely with steroids experienced severe complications.

Findings:

  • Immunomodulatory therapy controlled inflammation and preserved vision in MCP patients.
  • Patients on immunomodulatory therapy did not experience vision loss.
