Herpesvirus saimiri cyclin (Vcyclin) forms highly active complexes with human cyclin-dependent kinase 6 (CDK6), resisting inhibition. Structural analysis reveals unique Vcyclin interactions stabilizing the CDK6--Vcyclin complex.
