[Substituted benzensulfobiguanides]

In continuation of earlier work on biguanide derivatives a number of 1-alkoxybenzensulphonyl-5-alkylbiguanides has been prepared. The U.V. absorption spectra have been measured and Beer's Law investigated. None of the compounds tested extensively for microbiological and pharmacological activity was found to possess significant activity in our screening.
