Abstract:
In the past years the recently increased interest in designing new antiviral agents is primarily associated with the obvious clinical effect of agents of this kind, which have undergone long-term trials. These included aminoadamanthanes, analogues of nucleosides, etc.). The review summarizes the results of searches for and medical application of new-generation antiviral agents intended mainly to prevent and treat 4 most common and dangerous groups of diseases: HIV infection, influenza and acute respiratory viral infections, viral hepatitis, and herpes-related diseases.
