Abstract:
The INACTINE process is a promising approach for improving the pathogen safety of red cell concentrates. Clinical trials are ongoing to characterize the viability of the pathogen inactivated red cells in humans. The presentation will update the audience on the preclinical and clinical trials conducted to date.
