    Background:

    • Pulmonary aspergillosis is a rare fungal infection.
    • It typically occurs as a secondary invasion of pre-existing lung conditions, such as tuberculosis or bronchiectasis.
    • This study reviews cases from Toronto General Hospital between 1965 and 1975.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To describe the clinical presentation, pre-existing conditions, and treatment outcomes of pulmonary aspergillosis.
    • To evaluate the efficacy and complications of surgical resection for this condition.

    • Retrospective review of 24 patient cases diagnosed with pulmonary aspergillosis.
