Abstract:
The trip to HIPAA compliance can be unwelcome and burdensome. But, it must be made, however reluctantly. This article attempts to give some meaning to that trip and practical advice on how to arrive safely at your destination. The first part of the article will look at the new legislation providing an extension to compliance with the transactions and code set rules. The second part will address specific compliance strategies.
