Use of the erect position for aspiration needle biopsy of diaphragm-based pulmonary lesions

Abstract:
Lesions in the lower lung field may be obscured by an ascending hemidiaphragm when the patient is supine or prone. Use of the erect position for fluoroscopy facilitates percutaneous aspiration needle biopsy in such cases.
