    Simmonds-Sheehan syndrome, a rare condition causing adrenal insufficiency, can develop after childbirth complications. Hormonal treatment effectively restored the patient's health and ability to work.

    Background:

    • Simmonds-Sheehan syndrome is a rare endocrine disorder characterized by pituitary gland damage leading to hypopituitarism.

    Observation:

    • A 30-year-old woman developed Simmonds-Sheehan syndrome following vacuum-assisted delivery due to labor dystocia.
    • The patient presented with symptoms of adrenal insufficiency, including abdominal pain, vomiting, hypotonia, and severe asthenia-adynamia.

    Findings:

    • The clinical presentation was primarily dominated by signs of suprarenal cortical insufficiency.
    • Substitutional hormonal therapy led to a complete restoration of the patient's general condition and work capacity.

    Implications:

    • This case highlights the importance of recognizing Simmonds-Sheehan syndrome in postpartum patients with adrenal insufficiency symptoms.
    • Effective hormonal management can significantly improve patient outcomes, restoring quality of life and functional capacity.
