Abstract:
Quality of dental care is receiving more and more attention. In the past many different definitions of quality are used. The definition of quality as it is used in the Dutch medical care system, is discussed. The policy for quality assurance of the Dutch government and the Dutch Dental Association (NMT) is briefly mentioned.
