Abstract:
From the modern standpoint, interrelation is shown between different mechanisms of osteoporosis (OP) and course of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Allowing for a large variety of mechanisms of development of OP in RA, especial emphasis is placed on identifying pathogenetic variants of development of OP in RA. The available data from the published literature indicate further study for the role of cytokins in the development of OP in RA.
