Abstract
Objective:
To present our experience with mesothelial cysts with excretory system involvement.
Methods:
3 cases of mesothelial cyst are presented; two of them caused obstructive uropathy.
Results:
Cases 1 and 2 were treated by surgery, while case 3 was managed conservatively. All cases are currently asymptomatic.
Conclusions:
Mesothelial cysts are an uncommon cause of obstructive uropathy. Treatment is by surgery for the symptomatic cases and conservative management is a valid alternative for the asymptomatic cases.
