[Ureteral obstruction caused by the right ovarian vein (author's transl)]

A case of a right sided ureteral obstruction is reported. This may be interpreted as ovarian vein syndrome. It demonstrates that not only aberrant renal arteries but also atypically running veins may produce ureteral obstruction.
