Management of urethral straddle injury after radical prostatectomy
1Urological Institute, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio 44195, USA.
Abstract:
Incontinence, impotence, and urethral stricture are reported complications of radical retropubic prostatectomy. Although complications are possible after urethroplasty for anterior urethral trauma as well, the combined risk in patients requiring this operation after radical retropubic prostatectomy is unknown. The first reported case involving the management of urethral trauma after radical prostatectomy is presented.
