Summary

Intermittent photic stimulation (IPS) at 20 Hz consistently suppresses alpha-power in electroencephalography (EEG) recordings. This reliable effect suggests that ratios of alpha-global field power (GFP) under 20 Hz IPS can serve as a valuable metric in future research.
