Development of a minor in complementary health

With greater numbers of healthcare consumers choosing complementary therapies to augment treatment regimens and enhance health, it is critical that nurses become informed about these therapies. Although dependent on student interest, one mechanism for meeting this educational demand is to grant a minor to undergraduate students who have completed a prescribed area of concentrated study in complementary health.
