[Origin of oncogenic viruses]

On the basis of the literature, and particularly of recent paraprocessing studies, the possible origin of oncogenous RNA viruses in human is discussed. The concept of the irritative theory as the origin of most such viruses, according to the "wandering gene" concept, is reiterated.
