Abstract:
Teaching of any kind can be a rewarding career option for a perioperative nurse. Whether it is teaching patients, the public, other nurses, surgical technologists, or ancillary staff members, the result can still be the same: a feeling of satisfaction in doing an important job. This article explores one nurse's perioperative career and examines how that career evolved into the expanded role of clinical instructor for surgical technology at the college level.
