Federal government forgets nurse role in the bush

In summary the current Federal Budget has failed nurses. There is no recognition in the budget of significant issues facing nursing in Australia especially in the bush. The Budget obviously was designed to appease the medical lobby groups. It is clear that nurses and their organisations will need to work hard to restore the equilibrium so that when we look at a health budget we look at health care not just medical care.
