Abstract:
All nurses know the requirements for PREP, with its practice, continuing professional development and re-registration standards. However, the system relies on nurses' honesty in completing their PREP record and does not assess a person's fitness to practice as a nurse. Would a system such as the medical re-accreditation process be more appropriate?
