Abstract:
Growing bacterial resistance to antibiotics is causing grave concern in both community and hospital settings. Mismanagement has been identified as the main cause. The problem can be addressed at ground level by careful use of antibiotics, through meticulous personal and environmental hygiene and preventive infection-control measures.
