Serum immunoglobulins and C-reactive protein in patients using intrauterine contraceptive devices
Serum IgA, IgG, IgM and C-reactive protein levels were measured over a 12-week period in 20 women using the intrauterine contraceptive device. No significant amount of serum C-reactive protein was detected at any time. Alterations in the serum immunoglobulin levels are discussed.
