Purpose of the Study:

  • A questionnaire-based survey was administered to 139 long-term poliomyelitis patients (mean 49.8 years post-polio).
  • Data collected included details of acute illness, initial limb involvement, pain characteristics, hand dominance, injury history, and mobility aid use.

  • Out of 103 valid responses, 64% reported upper-limb pain.
