Background:

The anterolateral thigh flap is a versatile option for soft tissue reconstruction.
This study evaluates its application in four diverse cases.

Observation:

Flap reconstructions were performed for plantar foot defects, hand defects, and tibial nonunion.
Various flap types (pure skin, musculocutaneous, composite) were utilized.
Perforator vessel caliber and anastomosis techniques varied across cases.

Findings:

All cases demonstrated satisfactory skin healing post-microsurgery.
Successful bone healing was achieved in a complex tibial nonunion case.
