[Treatment of patients with venous diseases of the lower extremities]
Abstract:
Results of treatment of 355 patients with chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs were analyzed. In 169 patients with postthrombophlebitic disease, in 38 patients with postthrombophlebitic trophic ulcers and in 43 patients with varicose trophic ulcers the lymphotropic therapy was used (the study group). Control group consisted of 105 patients treated with traditional methods. Limphotropic therapy improved microcirculatory and metabolic processes in tissues that promotes faster cure of inflammation and edema and epithelization of trophic ulcers in patients with chronic venous insufficiency.
