Background:

• Epistaxis (nosebleeds) management traditionally involves nasal packing, chemical coagulation, or cautery.

Purpose of the Study:

• To evaluate the efficacy of Quixil, a second-generation surgical fibrin sealant, as a substitute for conventional epistaxis treatments.
• To compare the hemostatic effectiveness and complication rates of Quixil with electric cautery, silver nitrate coagulation, and foam nasal packing.

• A randomized study involving 204 patients with anterior and posterior epistaxis.
