Summary

Novel monitoring procedures for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, gene therapy, and immunotherapy are emerging. Cell sorting is becoming a key clinical tool for optimizing hematopoietic grafts, with future flow cytometry in transplantation showing great promise.
