Summary

Milk-derived tetrapeptides, alpha-lactorphin and beta-lactorphin, enhance vascular relaxation in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR). Alpha-lactorphin improves endothelial function, while beta-lactorphin also boosts endothelium-independent relaxation, suggesting potential antihypertensive mechanisms.
