[Malignant ovarian struma in pseuomucinous cystadenoma]

In a female aged 64, a large pseudomucinous cystadenoma was found, containing a predominantly follicular carcinoma originating in an ovarian goiter in the subcapsular portion of the ovary. The tumour invaded the surroinding tissues assuming a scirrhotic character. At operation, no peritoneal metastases were recorded. No other teratogenic components were found within the tumour.
