Abstract:
A method for identifying the group appurtenance of biological objects from subjects suffering from various diseases is developed. The method can be used in examination of putrefactive objects (blood, secretions, hair, etc.) and in cases when the group appurtenance cannot be identified by other methods.
Insights
A novel method identifies biological group appurtenance in diseased individuals. This technique is crucial for analyzing degraded samples when traditional methods fail, aiding forensic and medical investigations.
Area of Science:
- Forensic Science
- Molecular Biology
- Immunogenetics
Context:
- Challenges in identifying biological samples from diseased individuals.
- Degradation of biological evidence (blood, hair, secretions) can impede identification.
- Limitations of conventional methods in complex biological sample analysis.
Purpose:
- To develop and present a new method for determining biological group appurtenance.
- To enable identification from putrefactive biological materials.
- To overcome limitations of existing techniques in group identification.
Summary:
- A new method has been developed for identifying the group appurtenance of biological objects.
- Applicable to degraded samples like blood, secretions, and hair from diseased subjects.
- Effective even when standard identification methods are unsuccessful.
Impact:
- Enhances the capabilities of forensic and medical examinations.
- Provides a solution for identifying biological origins in challenging forensic cases.
- Expands the scope of biological sample analysis in disease-related contexts.
