Seeking young people's views of primary care
1Centre for Health Policy and Practice, Staffordshire University.
Abstract:
Patient involvement in developing health services is a government priority, yet research has shown that young people are rarely asked for their opinions of services. A project was undertaken to ascertain young people's views of local primary care services and how they could be improved from their perspective. A questionnaire was distributed, then the findings were discussed in a focus group. The group also discussed how relevant health information could be disseminated to young people, and a leaflet was generated for distribution to schools in the area.
