[Air pollution caused by cigarette smoke]

In a climatized room of 30 M3 various gas-phase components of the side-stress smoke of cigarettes were quantitatively determined. In these experiments, acroleine, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde and nitric oxide reached relatively high values.
