Abstract:
DLB demonstrates the pathological overlap between neurodegenerative disorders. Clinicians who work with the elderly need to be aware of the dramatic variability of symptoms in order to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. There is much work to be done on the genetics and pathogenesis of DLB. More objectives diagnostic tests are needed, as are more controlled treatment trials for the specific symptoms of DLB.
