Summary

This study used transcranial Doppler ultrasonography to assess cerebral blood flow velocity changes during emotional tasks in Parkinson's disease (PD) patients. Results indicate PD patients have a specific deficit in emotional processing, showing bilateral blood flow increases unlike healthy controls.
