This case report details the first instance of a mesectodermal leiomyoma exclusively affecting the posterior choroid. This rare tumor caused blurred vision and was initially misdiagnosed as choroidal melanoma.

  • Histopathological and immunohistochemistry analyses confirmed the mass as a mesectodermal leiomyoma.
  • The tumor exclusively involved the posterior choroid.
