Hyponatremic dehydration: an analysis of 78 cases

Summary

In children with hyponatremic dehydration, convulsions occurred in 15.3% of cases. Severe hyponatremia was associated with a higher tendency for convulsions, irrespective of malnutrition or diarrhea type.
