Abstract:
In the wake of the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attack, practices should seriously consider having a sister plan in effect. Admittedly, catastrophes that interrupt medical practice function are infrequent, but they do arise at a statistically predictable rate. This article provides an outline of the relatively simple and common steps that practices can establish to cope with emergency situations.
