[Morphologic characteristics of the late results of sigmoid colpopoiesis]
Abstract:
Results of morphological investigations of an artificial vagina of the wall of the sigmoid flexure 29-44 pears after the plastics are presented. In two cases there were revealed atrophy of the mucous membrane, sclerosis of the submucous layer and non-uniform hypertrophy of muscular layers. In one patient signs of nonspecific ulcerative colitis which developed several years before the incision of the artificial vagina were noted. Changes observed in the large intestine following sigmoidal colpopoiesis indicate to the stability of structures of the organs transferred under unusual conditions of existence;
